The Department of Psychology at National Chung Cheng University invites applications for two full-time faculty positions at the rank of Assistant Professor or higher. There are no restrictions on the specific field of psychology, and candidates with interdisciplinary expertise are especially encouraged to apply.

Application Materials

Interested applicants should submit the following documents:

1. Curriculum Vitae (CV) – A detailed CV outlining academic and professional achievements.
2. Graduate Transcripts and Diploma(s) – Certification by a relevant overseas representative office is required for degrees obtained outside Taiwan. Candidates expecting to complete their degree before the appointment date but who have not received their diploma should provide official proof of completion.
3. Representative Publications – Three representative journal articles or book chapters published within the past three years.
4. Letters of Recommendation – Three letters will be sent to the department in sealed envelopes.
5. Statement of Research Interests – A document outlining the applicant’s research focus and future research plans.
6. List of Courses Capable of Teaching – The department is particularly interested in courses addressing emerging interdisciplinary topics in psychology.

Additional Notes

• Newly appointed faculty members must teach at least one course in English per academic year.
• Applicants with experience in research projects funded by the National Science and Technology Council (NSTC), University Social Responsibility (USR) projects, Higher Education Sprout projects, or industry-academia collaboration projects are highly preferred. Supporting documents should be provided.
• Preference will be given to candidates who have published in high-impact peer-reviewed journals, including SCI, SSCI, TSSCI, EI, A&HCI, or post-2016 THCI (formerly THCI Core), within the past three years, with the applicant as the first author or corresponding author. Applicants should specify the journal impact ranking and provide supporting documentation.
• Candidates with experience in international research collaborations or editorial roles in international academic journals are strongly encouraged to apply.
